Get into the kitchen with acclaimed chef, Michael Twitty for a hands-on matzo ball gumbo workshop. In this intimate and interactive workshop you will have the opportunity to make this recipe with the guidance and wisdom of Michael Twitty. Learn more about the influences of ancestors, identity and experience that drive Twitty. The workshop will include a sit and sip where workshop participants enjoy the delicious reward of enjoying the gumbo you’ve just made while in conversation with Twitty about foodways, identity and community.

This ticket also includes admission to the Our Season of Joy: A Sukkot Festival, which takes place from 12:00-4:00 PM.
