Funders and Partners
Stronger Together: Co-Creating and Building Community Together.
Our Funders and Partners
Dreams become reality when they are shared. Thank you to our partners and funders!
Building something new that also honors its past requires Dreamers, Doers, Enthusiasts, Early Adotpers, Chevruta (thought partnership) and Investors of time, treasure and talent. We are grateful daily for the partners, funders and contributors of all kinds who are helping us to build our mishkan — a space of sacred dwelling co-created by those who are part of it.
The founding of Third Space at Shaarei Tfiloh was made possible by generous support by the Cordish and Perlow families. Both families were long-time, multi-generational members of the original Shaarei Tfiloh Synagogue, where Louis Cordish served as the synagogue’s first President after its founding in 1921. The Cordish and Perlow families are deeply committed to the preservation and enhancement of the historic Shaarei Tfiloh space as a vibrant new resource for Jewish community building and learning in Baltimore City, and as a resource for the city at large. Jonathan Cordish, one of Louis Cordish’s great-grandsons, serves as the inaugural Chair of the Board of Directors of Third Space.
